Group Description
We, as Austrian Medical Students' Association (AMSA), are a non-profit and independent association of Austrian medical students. We are politically independent, not a campaigning group and not part of the Austrian National Union of Students' federal body of Representatives. We are part and therefore, a National Member Organization of the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA). The IFMSA is one of the worlds oldest and largest student-run organizations, with 1.3 million members from 123 countries. In addition to our main focus areas such as "Public Health", "Medical Education" and "Human Rights and Peace", one of our main responsibilities is "Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights". For EuroPride 2019 in Vienna, we would like to invite our colleagues from all over Europe to join us, march with us, together and proud for equal rights to all genders, sexualities and lifestyles.

Wir, die Austrian Medical Students' Association (AMSA), sind ein gemeinnütziger und unabhängiger Verein österreichischer Medizin-Studierender. Wir sind parteipolitisch unabhängig, keine wahlwerbende Gruppierung, kein Teil der Österreichischen Hochschüler_innenschaft und nicht auf Gewinn ausgerichtet. Wir sind Teil und somit nationales Komitee der International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA). Die IFMSA ist eine der ältesten und größten Studierenden-geführten Organisationen der Welt mit 1,3 Millionen Mitgliedern aus 123 Ländern. Neben unseren Fokusthemen, wie "Public Health", "Medical Education" und "Human Rights and Peace" ist eines unserer Hauptaufgabenbereiche "Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights". Im Zuge der EuroPride 2019 in Wien möchten wir unsere Kolleg_innen aus ganz Europa dazu einladen gemeinsam mit uns für die Gleichberechtigung aller Geschlechter, Sexualitäten und Lebensformen mit zu marschieren.
